A BILL to amend article six, chapter sixty-four of the
code of West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred
thirty-one, as amended, by adding thereto a new
section, designated section four, relating to
authorizing the state police to promulgate
legislative rules relating to state police
grievance procedures.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That article six, chapter sixty-four of the code of
West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as
amended, be amended by adding thereto a new section,
designated section four, to read as follows:
ARTICLE 6. AUTHORIZATION FOR DEPARTMENT OF MILITARY
AFFAIRS AND PUBLIC SAFETY TO PROMULGATE LEGISLATIVE
RULES.
§64-6-4. State police.
The legislative rules filed in the state register on
the twenty-third day of June, one thousand nine hundred
ninety-five, authorized under the authority of section
six, article two, chapter fifteen, of this code, modified
by the state police to meet the objections of the
legislative rule-making review committee and refiled in
the state register on the twenty-second day of September,
one thousand nine hundred ninety-five, relating to the
state police (state police grievance procedures, 81 CSR
8), are authorized.
NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to authorize the
State Police to promulgate legislative rules relating to
state police grievance procedures.
